Sarah Sclater Art is 10 Years Old

It is hard to believe that it is ten years since I first open the doors to Thrae as Art at Home.  Since then I have shown more than 50 artists and welcomed far more people than I could ever have imagined into the house.  I continue to love showing people art in this unique setting. There is nothing more satisfying  than selling someone their first piece of original art and even better when they return over the years to add to the pieces they have bought.  People visit from all over the country and I have exhibited artists from all over the world.  Of course just as my clients return to add to their collections most of my artists have allowed their work to change and grow, this has been a hugely rewarding part of Sarah Sclater Art and something I love seeing.

Over the years the marketing world has changed, often beyond my capabilities – I can keep people updated on Instagram @sarahsclaterart or on facebook, send emails and have started to give those who can not attend the show video walks on facetime or watts app.  The Web pages allow me to give people an insight into what the exhibiton is all about but does not show all the works or all the artists exhibiting – please do get in touch if you would like me to give you a walk around or discuss anything you’d like to know more about. .
